Welcome to May Media

2021 was a massive year for May media, I finally decided to take that massive step of taking on filming weddings by myself and I am so happy that I did. I have been able to take my creativity to a whole new level and in doing so I managed to win the ‘Best newcomer’ award at the Kent wedding awards and I became a finalist at the regional wedding awards. Which is such an amazing accomplishment for any supplier.

However, I wanted to push past the boundaries of a newcomer and finally become a wedding professional. So this has meant a complete overhaul of may media. To do this I needed to take a step back and think about what a newly engaged couple would want to see on their hunt for a videographer. I came to the conclusion that I basically needed to start from scratch, a new logo, a new web domain, a new website, new ways of taking bookings etc

At the base of any good business is an eye catching logo. So I got my creative juices flowing coming up with new ideas for something that would draw people in. I finally got a rough idea in my mind, then made the search for the perfect artist on Fiverr. A couple of days later I got my email saying the logo had been delivered and that was then the start of the rebranding.

The next logical step would be the website, I am not the greatest with computers by any means so the idea of making a new website filled me with anxiety. But once i got started and started seeing the site come together the anxiety turned to excitement. A massive part of the website was being able to take bookings directly through the website to make it easier for my couples and myself to get the date secured. This took many hours to figure out and many phone calls to support to help me out and I’m pretty sure I gave my friend Steve a brain aneurism with all the questions i had to ask him haha. But we finally got there and its finally set and ready to go.

The next step for this process is to create an awesome exhibition stand for upcoming wedding fairs. So time to get my creative hat back on so i can push my business to the next level!

I cant wait to see where this rebranding leads May media.
