The first wedding of 2026 was nothing short of epic! I had the honour of filming the beautiful day of Faye and Matt at the stunning Cooling Castle Barns in Kent, and it was the perfect start to what promises to be an incredible wedding season.
The morning began with the usual buzz—frantic energy in the groom’s room and an upbeat, joyful bridal prep. From the laughter-filled moments with bridesmaids to the excitement building before the ceremony, I captured every candid detail. These are the moments that truly make cinematic wedding films so special.
The evening was unforgettable. After the first dance and a beautiful celebration, Faye’s sister decided to add a little extra sparkle… or rather, a champagne spray! The bubbly showered over the happy couple, followed by a hilariously dramatic finish as the rest of the bottle met the floor. Moments like this—full of raw emotion, laughter, and love—are exactly why I adore cinematic wedding videography.
From the first kiss to the last dance, every emotion, glance, and laugh of Faye and Matt’s wedding day is now preserved forever in their wedding film. Cinematic wedding videography allows couples to relive their day again and again, remembering not just the big moments but also the candid, heartfelt memories in between.
After a few months without filming, this was the perfect way to kick off 2026. I can’t wait for the season to get fully underway and to be a part of many more epic love stories this year.
