an award-winning wedding videographer based in Kent, though I’m always looking for an excuse to travel and explore somewhere new.
These days, home is a little house in Sittingbourne, which I share with my fiancé, our daughter Robyn, three cats, and our (slightly chaotic) dog Deedee. Life is busy, loud, and full of personality — just how I like it.
I don’t take life too seriously. I’m here to tell stories, capture real moments, and make people laugh along the way. Weddings are emotional, exciting, and sometimes a little overwhelming — my job is to help you feel relaxed, comfortable, and fully yourselves while I document it all.
Before I get to know you and your story, here are a few things you should probably know about me…
HEY THERE...
My name’s Joe —

A BIT ABOUT ME...

-
I spent 10 years working in security as a dog handler, and if I’m honest, I only chose that career so I could get paid to hang out with my dog. Zero regrets.
-
Music is a huge part of my life — early rock ’n’ roll is my go-to, and my love for Elvis runs so deep I flew to Memphis to visit Graceland (and yes, it absolutely lived up to the hype).
-
Despite my rock ’n’ roll obsession, my first-ever concert was Westlife… and I’m not even a little bit ashamed.
-
I have a serious weakness for Krispy Kreme, much to the frustration of my personal trainer. Worth it.
-
I’m a massive movie buff. I can probably recite every word of The Grinch, Marley & Me makes me cry every single time, and I’ll happily book time off for an Avengers or Harry Potter marathon.
-
Above all, I’m a fun guy. I don’t take myself too seriously — I just want to laugh, make others laugh, and create great memories while doing it.
THE BEST MOMENTS IN LIFE, ARE THE ONES WE LEAST EXPECT...
I picked up my first camera back in 2015, and everything changed. What started as a curiosity quickly turned into an obsession — a way of seeing the world differently. Photography was my first love, but the moment I discovered filmmaking, I was hooked. Movement, sound, emotion — it all came together, and May Media was born.
Choosing your wedding videographer isn’t just another box to tick — it’s one of the most important decisions you’ll make. Long after the flowers have faded and the dress is packed away, your film is what brings it all flooding back. That’s why I believe you should choose someone whose work stops you in your tracks, and just as importantly, someone you feel completely comfortable with.
I’m a sociable guy, a people person, and I thrive on good energy. I keep things relaxed, fun, and as un-staged as possible — no awkward posing, no forced moments. The magic happens when you’re being yourselves, and my job is to quietly capture it as it unfolds.
My films are all about raw, real emotion — the nervous excitement, the uncontrollable laughter, the tears you didn’t see coming, and the moments you didn’t even realise were happening. I don’t just document weddings; I craft cinematic stories that feel powerful, immersive, and deeply personal.
If you want a wedding film that feels epic, emotional, and unmistakably you — one that you’ll want to watch again and again — you’re in exactly the right place.
